Welcome to Smyrna Fastpitch League!

We are a youth fastpitch softball league located in Smyrna, TN. We offer softball for girls ages 3 -16. Our spring season for lower conference begins in March and ends in June. The fall season runs from August through October.  Both spring and fall seasons have a double elimination tournament after their regular season ends.

*In the spring, The Varsity (13U) and Collegiate (16U) divisions will begin in May to allow our middle and high school players to finish school ball.

SFL's Mission Statement:

Smyrna Fastpitch League strives to provide a foundation of integrity, self-confidence, discipline, sportsmanship, and competitive fun through involvement in organized sports in the community.

The Youth of Today Will Be the Leaders of Tomorrow!

Come experience the excitement of fastpitch softball with SFL! This league will be as successful as the community wants it to be. We would like to encourage the public to support and promote our program for the girls in our community.

Let's work together to add our girls of Smyrna to the roster of champions! SFL defines champions as young ladies who have confidence in themselves, works together as a team, and understands the importance of hard work and commitment while also having fun.


Community Benefits:

Our program will allow young female athletes to participate in a fast growing sport without having to leave their own community.

It will add another option for organized youth sports in the community to keep pace with the growth of Smyrna.

We will help instill a sense of teamwork, dedication, confidence, work ethic, and pride in the youth of our community.

Our league will bring revenue and exposure to our city and local businesses through tournaments and league needs.

We will provide training for young girls so that they may participate in school athletics if they desire which may lead to college scholarships.

Through clinics, practices, games, and tournaments SFL will provide the youth of our community the tools to become the leaders of tomorrow!

PEEWEE (4U)

  • 3-4 YEAR OLDS
  • 5-7 PLAYERS PER TEAM 
  • PLAYER HITS OF TEE 
  • ENTIRE LINE UP WILL BAT THROUGH THEN SWAP WITH DEFENSE
  • NO UMPIRE, NO SCORE
  • 45 MIN GAMES

TRAINING (6U)

  • 5-6 YEAR OLDS
  • 9-11 PLAYERS PER TEAM 
  • 3 ATTEMPTS TO HIT OFF COACH THEN, IF NEEDED, 2 TRIES OFF TEE
  • ALL PLAYERS PLACED IN LINE UP
  • ALL PLAYERS PLAY DEFENSE 
  • 70 MIN GAMES
  • 5 RUNS PER INNING

ROOKIE (8U)

  • 7-8 YEAR OLDS
  • 9-11 PLAYERS PER TEAM 
  • COACH PITCH- 5 PITCHES OR 3 STRIKES
  • ALL PLAYERS PLACED IN LINE UP
  • 10 PLAYERS PLAY DEFENSE 
  • 70 MIN GAMES
  • 5 RUNS PER INNING
  • NO WALKS, NO STEALING, NO BUNTING 

JUNIOR VARSITY (10U)

  • 9-10 YEAR OLDS
  • 9-11 PLAYERS PER TEAM

  • 10 PLAYERS PLAY DEFENSE
